Victor Burke

The Production Manager for the Phoenix Chamber Choir since 2022, and Project Manager for the British Columbia Choral Federation, it's hard to find a choir in Vancouver that Victor Burke (he/him) hasn't been involved with as a singer, volunteer, or manager. An avid chorister himself, Victor knows what happens both behind-the-scenes and on-stage to make choral music possible.

Most recently, Victor founded the Knox Lab Choir, a seasonal ensemble that gives aspiring future conductors a low-barrier opportunity to learn choral conducting, with hands-on experience and mentorship from peers. Victor looks forward to representing British Columbia in the 2026 National Youth Choir of Canada.

Victor credits his lifelong love of choral music largely to his involvement with excellent local ensembles, and looks forward to a lifetime’s worth of choral music to come!
